Well, all I can tell you is that I will be in for some serious hurting when my periods finally end. I am 47 now, haven’t had a period in 2 months, but then, with all the stress of the upcoming eclipse of June 26, my hormones are pretty caput. I expect to still have a few more go-rounds, period-wise, once the Solar Eclipse of July 11th gets here and my body evens out. But still…..my periods have always been the part of me that “feminizes” me. I’m going to have to do some serious inner work to be able to come out alive when I do finally quit my periods. It will be a huge loss of self for me.
I started my periods just before 9 years old, thanks likely to the heavy pesticide use around our farm, and all the BPA’s and xeno-estrogens we all have been bombarded with in this last 50 years.
Not sure why my periods mean so much to me. Something to do with my Scorpio Sun?, Scorpio Venus?, Gemini Moon?, Cancer Ascendant?…..or all of the above. Who knows.
I just cant tell you what it means to me to feel all “spongey” inside. My uterus saturated and dripping; thick heavy hard contractions that give me shooting pains down my thighs and bend me over at the waist; unable to walk. It’s all so dark and full; sensual and orgasmic. And speaking of such..isn’t it interesting that an orgasm is the prescription for the pain? I never wanted a man involved in that. Its mine.
