Advanced Menstrual Awareness
Menstrual Awareness Part Two
Available as a one or two day workshop
This workshop is popular with women who want to further explore and deepen their relationship with their menstrual cycle, often because they have already discovered how conscious menstruation enriches their lives.
This workshop can also be very useful for healthcare professionals (not necessarily still menstruating themselves) who work with women clients and students.
The workshop is primarily designed for women in their 30’s and 40’s but is open to women of all ages. It is a bit more academic than “Developing Menstrual Awareness”, but still very accessible.
- Learn from perennial archetypes, pro-feminine cultures, and contemporary research to create advanced menstrual wellbeing today.
- Learn about the major issues in today’s world impacting women’s menstrual experience and health and how to rebalance and heal within this context.
- Learn in depth about the four phases within the period itself.
- Bring together everything you have learned so far and create an Advanced Menstrual Wellbeing Plan. Where applicable, learn how to teach your clients or patients to do this.
“Hi Lara, so lovely to meet you. Your workshop was superb. I feel so inspired to take this work out into the world. My head has not stopped spinning with ideas since Saturday!” Teresa Bilowus, women’s educator and coordinator of Red Tent Bournemouth, UK.
