For Graduates
Graduates from CMS have expressed the desire to stay in touch and continue to build community. To that end, everyone who has graduated from CMS Year One since its inception in 2022 can keep their membership in the main WhatsApp group and can also now register for the Graduate Study Group and the Graduate Biographies Page. Please see below for information about registering for the study group and for the biographies page.
STUDY GROUP
The CMS Study Group
The graduate study group meets monthly from April to June and September to November, with six 90 minute seminars a year. The group is led by Lara and focuses on topical matters. Readings are emailed out a week before the seminar.
Topics covered in 2026 included the politics of the tradwife phenomenon, the redesignation of PCOS as PMOS, recent critiques of ‘cycle syncing’ and related ideas around hacking or optimising the cycle, recent developments in policy standards and statements from global organizations, and how to interpret recent data that may not be what it seems.
The last half hour of the 90 minute session is dedicated to career development and allows for discussion of people’s specific desires for input on their work and/or study.

Graduate biography web page
We’re starting a new public web page for CMS graduates at laraowen.com. You can include your name, your location, any relevant qualifications, whether you are a graduate of Year One or of both years, the title(s) of your CMS research, any relevant publications or media (such as podcasts), and your current menstruation-related work. You can link to your own website and/or social media accounts.
